Doronicum Orientale plants are uncommon, but they are wonderful spring blooming perennials with attractively toothed foliage and daisy-like flowers. It performs best in a partially shaded, consistently moist location; however, it will grow in full sun in cooler environments. The plants are approximately 16 inches tall. Leopard's Bane Doronicum is a very uniform plant, so it works well as an edging plant, in containers, or in small spaces when planted from flower seeds. The Leopard's Bane flower looks wonderful with spring bulbs, and it makes a great cut flower. It looks lovely in a vase with Forget-Me-Nots! Planting Instructions: Sow Leopard's Bane seeds indoors in late winter. Press the flower seeds into the soil and lightly cover. Keep seeds moist until germination. Transplant outdoors in early spring. Can also be directly sown outdoors in spring when danger of frost has passed.
